Design principles
The rules that keep Echo Labs useful rather than becoming decorative AI theatre.
Private by default
Public pages can be beautiful, but they must not contain private plaintext. Sensitive views are encrypted or kept behind Gateway auth.
Useful over flashy
Every animation earns its keep. The surface should help Rob decide, act, triage or recover faster.
Thin control layer
The UI should observe and trigger safe actions. It should not quietly become another scheduler, brain, or risky hidden runtime.
